The Johnson City Seventh-day Adventist Church will offer a free film screening of the new “Jesus – The Desire of Ages Movie” on Good Friday, April 18, at 6:30 p.m.
Kim Barnwell of the Johnson City church said, “‘Jesus – The Desire of Ages’ movie tells the old, old story of Christ’s life in an amazingly fresh and living way through the eyes of the people who knew and loved the man of Calvary. Within the framework of the walk to Calvary and the crucifixion are interwoven numerous flashback sequences portraying the transformation of some 10 individuals whose lives were transformed by the power and love of Christ.”
The film is a Remi winner for the 47th Annual World-fest Houston International Film Festival. The movie is 63 minutes long.
