The Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County is opening the spring and summer t-ball league with a jamboree on Saturday morning at 10 at the Recreation Center on Mill Street.

“This is just one of many activities we have planned for this summer,” said club director Ginny Wright. “We will have swimming and field trips and we plan to have sports clinics where kids can learn to play sports and get coaching.”

The event will open with a parade of each of the 10 teams in the league, both major and minor leagues will be involved.
