The Johnson City Community Health Center is now offering back-to-school and sports physicals for children ages 8 to 16.
The physicals are conducted at the nurse-managed health clinic on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and at other times by appointment.
“Sports physicals are required and back-to-school are recommended for evaluation of growth and development,” said Dr. JoAnn Marrs, family nurse practitioner at the JCCHC and faculty member at East Tennessee State University’s College of Nursing.
To schedule an appointment at the JCCHC call 926-2500. The facility is located at 2151 Century Lane just off State of Franklin Road behind Woodridge Hospital. Spanish language translators are available at the facility.
Appointments can also be made at JCCHC/JCHA Partners for Health Clinic by calling 722-0808.
Most major health insurance is accepted and care is also provided on a sliding scale based on income.
