Mr. and Mrs. Ed Thomas, 2987 Siam Road, Elizabethton, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, July 10, 2014.

They were married July 10, 1964.

Mrs. Thomas is the former Edna Hicks.

The couple are the parents of two children, Kenneth Thomas and Karen Timbs.

They have three grandchildren, Beth Thomas, Suzanne Thomas and Adam Timbs.

Ed and Edna celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
