Teen becomes first qualifier for The Great Chase grand prize

Today was a great first day for Carter County Bank’s Great Chase Medallion search. It was an extra special day for Jake Higgs, a junior at University High, who was celebrating his 17th birthday and on fall break.
With clues like “Fun at 45 Degrees,” “Don’t ‘monkey’ Around,” and “Whee,” Higgs was able to locate the medallion underneath the slide at Kiwanis Park on West G Steet. Higgs won a $50 gift card and is the first qualifier for the $1,000 grand prize giveaway this Thursday at the Great Taste of Carter County.
