It was an anything you can do I can do better type of night at Brown-Childress Stadium. Fortunately for Elizabethton, the Cyclones held the knockout punch.

Senior Ethan Thomas recorded over 350 total yards and four total touchdowns to power the Cyclones as they handed Tennessee High, the state’s No. 8 team in the AP Class 5A poll, their first loss of the season, 49-35.

The win moves Elizabethton to 4-1 on the season.
