T.A. Dugger’s Lady Jr. Cyclones extinguished Blazers (1) 1-0 Wednesday night at Brown-Childress Stadium, advancing themselves to the district championship game.

The lone goal came at the 20-minute mark of the first half, when Maggie Johnson fired a shot on goal that was deflected by the Blazers’ goalie — but the ball would roll back to Johnson, allowing her to easily boot the ball on into the net.
