Hampton’s stellar first quarter in Sneedville Friday night paved the way for the junior varsity to come out and finish the game.

The Bulldogs started clearing the stands early during their 47-13 win as they amassed 244 yards of total offense and 26 points in just the first period. The majority of the points came from Jerry Lunsford, who rushed in three touchdowns. The other TD came as a result of Coby Jones connecting with Caleb West for a 68-yard TD pass.

The second quarter would also be dominated by Hampton as it racked up two more TDs  — one rushing TD from Lunsford and a TD reception from Tyler Moody.
