Linda Ann Clark Vance

Linda Ann Clark Vance, 101, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Pine Ridge Care Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mattie Tolley Clark.
Mrs. Vance was a homemaker. She also loved to sew. She was a Free Will Baptist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Tilson Tolley; her second husband, Jim Vance; two daughters, Ruth Tolley and Margie McClellan; two sons, Lewis Tolley and C.J. Tolley; and by seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruby Ellison and husband Albert, Hampton, and Lovie Tolley, Elizabethton; a son, Earnest D. Tolley and wife Roxie of Bristol; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vance will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow in the Clark-Tolley Cemetery, Fairview Section (Simerly Creek). Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the funeral service. Condolences may be e-mailed to mfc@chartertn.net.
