Using a thunder and lightning run game North Greene scorched the Goddard Field turf for 298 ground yards in a 39-6 drubbing of Unaka in Mountain East Conference football action on Friday night.

The Huskies (4-5, 4-2 MEC) got 102 yards from “lightning” Eli Shirey, who also tallied a touchdown run and a two-point conversion. They also got 50 yards on 10 carries from “thunder” Luke White, who scored two touchdowns and had three conversions.
