Coming off a tough loss to Sullivan South, the Elizabethton Cyclones will be looking to mend their wounds with some state playoff action against the Knoxville Catholic Fighting Irish.

The two Class 4A teams meet tonight in Knoxville.

“Our message to our kids this week has been to just kind of embrace the challenge,” said EHS head coach Shawn Witten. “It’s going to be a tough challenge going on the road to play Knox Catholic. You know, our guys have down a good job this week getting ready — especially after losing to South.”
