Cross country recap impressive for EHS

The Elizabethton cross country team faced some challenges early on in the year and even later, but in the end both the girls and boys ended up having an amazing season that ended up with the girls team going to the state and a top-15 individual finish — and a top-30 individual finish for the boys.

Elizabethton started the year with a coaching change due to an injury to head coach Aaron Wood, only to add him back as an assistant later with Amber Abel becoming the head coach.

The Lady Cyclones also had to overcome injuries and an unfortunate mishap at the Three Rivers Conference meet, but in the end accomplished exactly what they wanted to and more.
