With basketball season now starting to get underway, it will begin in earnest in a couple of weeks during “Feast Week” Tournaments being played all over the area.

The Thanksgiving event that is the most recognized around the area is now in its 25th year with the Hardee’s Classic in Jonesborough.

Once a tournament that featured more smaller rural schools, the event is now primarily made up AAA schools in the Big Seven and from District 2-AAA and more high profile AA programs like Greeneville, Sullivan East, Sullivan South and Unicoi County.
