JOHNSON CITY — The Lady Bucs are coming off a 9-21 season but their head coach, Brittney Ezell, is entering her second year and finally has the chance to bring in her first recruiting class. And that class is littered with local talent to help revamp the program.

Spearheading the class is Science Hill product Tianna Tarter, who finished with 16 points and eight rebounds in her first college exhibition game against Milligan. She is joined by former North Greene standout Mendy McNeese.

“I like this group and I think they have bought into the culture that we are trying to create,” Ezell said. “Tianna will push for time as a starter and Mendy shoots the ball as well as anybody on the roster.”
