Thanksgiving would not be complete with out high school basketball tournaments, and today Happy Valley will be holding its Mullins Chrystler Dodge Jeep Ram Thanksgiving Classic.

“This tournament has been going on for almost 20 years,” said Happy Valley head coach Larry Abel. “Coach Mike Rader started the tournament at Happy Valley back in the 90s. We have continued every year as a girls basketball fund raiser.”

The tournament will feature four local high school teams; the Elizabethton Lady Cyclones, the Cloudland Lady Highlanders, the Hampton Lady Bulldogs, and the Happy Valley Lady Warriors.
