Two Elizabethton High senior powerlifters made their way to Gatlinburg to compete in the Southern Powerlifting Federation’s Record Breakers competition held on Nov. 15.

The two girls performed well, placing first in their given divisions.

Sophia Peterson captured her best-ever bench and deadlift weights, pushing up 110 in the bench press and dead lifting 285.
