The junior high boys from Cloudland defeated the Hampton Bulldogs in Roan Mountain on Tuesday evening 60-36. The ‘Landers poured in 23 first-quarter points to establish a lead which they held for four quarters.

Cloudland’s Josh Blair had 13 of his game-high 19 points in the first quarter. Hampton’s Jordan Bentley scored six points in the first; he and Matthew Hughes each had eight points and accounted for almost half of the Bulldogs’ points. Hampton’s leading scorer for the evening was Bryson Andrews with nine points.
