Unaka fell behind by double digits in the first quarter and had nothing go right in the first half, but then outscored University High 33-10 in the second half in what became a huge 56-42 win over University High in the Lady Rangers’ Watauga Valley opener at Brooks Gym on Tuesday night.

Unaka started off red hot, but then foul trouble hurt and so did the defense of Dayshawn Hamilton for the Bucs as UH quickly erased a 17-9 first-quarter deficit and turned the game into a rout in their favor.
