After coming into the third period down 25-18, Unaka’s Joe Searfoss sunk a three to tie the game at 40 going into the final frame.

After a bucket from Brandon Guinn, Unaka took their first lead of the game, 44-42. However, The Huskies answered with seven consecutive points to push back out ahead 49-44. A bucket from Kyler Lewis would put the Rangers trailing by two with two minutes left. “There was no question that they were going to fight to the end,” Unaka coach Aaron Dugger. “. . . This bunch have scrapped and fought all year.”
