Carter County Schools will be operating on a regular schedule Tuesday.

This day originally was scheduled as a day off for students to allow the system a professional development day for school staff. Due to the inclement weather and schedule changes, the professional development training has been cancelled and March 3 will now be a regular school day. All students and staff will report to the school at normal time.

The Carter County School System depleted all of its built-in snow days last week and Director of Schools Kevin Ward said the system would now have to look at ways to make up any additional missed days.
