Donald Wayne “Bodie” Fenner, 58, of Elizabethton, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton following a lengthy battle with cancer.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Darius and Olena Hart Fenner.
Mr. Fenner was a retired construction worker. In earlier years, he loved to fish and hunt.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Fenner; two children, Selena Michelle Fenner, Elizabethton, and Jordan Tyler Fenner and wife Amanda, Johnson City; two sisters, Shirley Arnett, Roan Mountain, and Margaret Reece and husband Lynn, Elizabethton; a brother, John Fenner and wife Teresa, Elizabethton; several nieces and nephews; two brothers-in-law, Mark Chesser and wife Ann and Raymond Anderson; and a sister-in-law, Christy Thomas.
It was his wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
