Juanita Smith, 63, 1930 West Elk Avenue #2, Elizabethton, Tenn., died Friday, July 10, 2015, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was born on January 24, 1952 in Yancey County, N.C., but had resided in Elizabethton for the past 30 years.
Juanita was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Victoria Locklear of Elizabethton, Christie Locklear and Shelly Gambill of Johnson City, and a son, Marcus Smith of Greeneville, Tenn. Juanita also has five grandchildren, Ava Sheets, Kierah Smith, Ashley Galloway, Brycen Gambill and Maddix Bricker. Other surviving family members include Venelle Burleson and Paul Burleson of North Carolina as well as Rick Smith of Greeneville, Tenn.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, August 1, at University Parkway Baptist Church, 219 University Parkway, Johnson City, Tenn. 37604.
