MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (August 26, 2015) – Milligan College Head Baseball Coach Nathan Meade announced 24 new signees that will join his program for the 2016 season.

Nineteen of the newcomers will be freshmen this upcoming season, while five are transfers. Additionally, the class represents players from six states and two countries.

“I am excited about this year’s recruiting class,” said Coach Meade. “We lost a majority of our starters from last year, which obviously creates a lot of opportunities for both returning players and newcomers. I think we have a big task in front of us; this is the biggest class we have had in my 10 years here, and this will be overall the youngest team I have had in 10 years. However, I am excited to go to work with the great bunch of guys we have assembled for this year. I think we really did our due diligence to bring in the right type of athletes to fit what we want to do. Combine that with the players we have returning, and I think we are in for a really exciting season.”
