Flossie Marie Miller Tolley

Flossie Marie Miller Tolley, 90, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Pine Ridge Care Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Nora Elliott Miller.
Mrs. Tolley was a homemaker and a longtime member of Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Tolley, in 1994; a son-in-law, Parrot Nave; her sisters, Madge Chambers, Nellie Julian, Florence Julian, Pauline Julian, Belle Morgan and Georgia Ingram; and her brothers, Willie, Billie Joe and Tom Miller.
Survivors include a son, Danny Tolley and wife Sandra; a daughter, Brenda Nave; her half brothers, Charlie Miller, Robert Miller and Paul Miller; her half sisters, Frances Wood, Retha Markland and Julia Waycaster; her grandchildren, Tabitha Anna and husband Henry, Jennifer Moore and fiancé Casey Burgess and Chasity Miller and husband Foster; her great-grandchildren, Ashley Huffman, Matthew Street, Samantha Tolley, Daniel Matheson, Kaylee Miller and Nathan Moore; a step-great-grandson, Jo Jo Anna; her great-great-grandson, Ryland Street; and her step-great-great-grandson, Jaxon Anna.
Funeral services for Flossie Marie Miller Tolley will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy Johnson and the Rev. Ronnie Campbell officiating. Music will be provided by the Rev. Ronnie Campbell. The graveside service and interment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, will be Jay Kyte, Carl Roberson, Matthew Street, Henry Anna, Casey Burgess, Danny Tolley, Foster Miller and Daniel Matheson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale and Gloria Worthley, Larry Caldwell, Charlie Clawson, Jo Jo Anna, Junett Harrison, Freddy Julian, Kenneth Julian, Randy Julian and Cody Harding. The family would like to give special “Thanks” to Pine Ridge Care Center and the following employees: Vanessa, Jennifer, April, Suzanne, Rikki, James, Logan, Regina, Brittany, Brittany Brown, Chelsea, Helen, LaTonya, Teresa, Jenelle, Kriste and Tammy for taking such wonderful care of Flossie. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence.
