The First Assist Urgent Care in Elizabethton will be expanding its hours and allowing the scheduling of call ahead appointments to better accommodate the needs of its patients.
Beginning February 8, open hours will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Call ahead appointments will be available in March and will help to reduce wait times by allowing patients to call ahead and schedule an appointment.
Two appointments will be available per hour and will be available from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Patients can call, email or fax their demographic information with a copy of their driver’s license and insurance card, and staff at First Assist will pre-registered them. Patients electing to email must call first to get the appropriate email address of the person scheduling that day. The main phone number is (423) 542-8929 and the fax number is (423) 542-8621.
