Benny Creasman

Benny Creasman, 87, of Elizabethton, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016, at Hermitage Health Center.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Reynolds S. and Emma Victoria Combs Creasman.
Benny served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church but attended Pleasant Beach Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hildred Kathleen White Creasman, who died August 6, 2005, and two brothers, Paul Franklin and Hunter S. Creasman.
Survivors include his daughter, the love of his life, Patty Ann Creasman; his special friend, Ray Davis; his four-legged friend and companion, Reilly Jane; several nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Patty White and Ruth White, both of Elizabethton.
Graveside services for Benny Creasman will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 4, in the Mausoleum of Hope at Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Cecil “Nick” Bradshaw officiating. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Hermitage Health Center and also the staff of the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center.
