Christine Faye Caudill Harrell, 72, of Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Big Stone Gap, Va., she was a daughter of the late James Howard and Marie Stines Caudill. She had lived in Elizabethton for a number of years.
Mrs. Harrell was retired from Variety Bakery. She was a member of Southside Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roger Allen Harrell, and by six sisters and one brother.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James Stacy Harrell Sr., and three children, Jimmy (Mary) Harrell and Nathan (Lisa) Harrell, all of Elizabethton, and Angela (Bill) Montgomery. Nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harrell will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 6, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve Burleson and the Rev. Tim Gouge officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Christopher Glass, Billy Montgomery, Eric Guy, Matthew Daniels, Dustin Harrell, Michael Peters, Wesley McCarter and Scott Wagner. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at the residence.
