Gerald M. Clark, 71, Hampton , passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Aaron and Ethel Cochran Clark. He was preceded in death by four sisters.
Gerald attended church services for the past eight years at the Life Care Center. He loved to go to church and go walking and loved his animals.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews and his extended family at Life Care Center.
Graveside services for Mr. Clark will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, in the Berry Cemetery with the Rev. David Nelson officiating. Interment will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Life Care Center for the excellent care Gerald has received over the past eight years. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at the residence of Bob and Tammy Street, 710 Rittertown Road, Hampton.
