A dominating performance in all phases of the game saw Elizabethton blank David Crockett 4-0 in boys soccer on Thursday evening at Brown-Childress Stadium. Sophomore Pedro Teixeira had a three-goal hat trick and junior Isaac Fife added a goal as the Cyclones, in all, blasted 19 shots on goal.

“We had 20 shots against Tri-Cities,” said Cyclones head coach Bill McClay. “Unfortunately we didn’t have the outcome we wanted, but tonight I thought we possessed the ball real well and kept the pressure on them. Certainly our second goal was a product of that pressure.”
