Beginning Monday, April 28, the Carter County Highway Department will shift to its summer schedule, which is four, 10-hour days.
The highway department’s hours will be 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. After hours and on Fridays callers can leave a message at 543-2331.
