Dennis E. Fair, 63, of Carter County, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Fair was the son of M.E. “Milt” Fair and Martha Cole Campbell, both of Elizabethton.
Mr. Fair attended Centerview Church and enjoyed all sports, hunting and fishing, horses and watching John Wayne movies. He was a 1970 graduate of Elizabethton High School, where he ran track, played football and basketball. After high school he attended East Tennessee State University.
Survivors, in addition to his mother and father, include a brother, Rick Campbell; a sister, Sharon Jones; and his life partner, Kay Johnson.
A memorial service for Mr. Fair will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 26, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Mr. David Irick, minister, officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.tetrickfuneralhome.com and signing the guest book.
