Senior Citizens Center schedule

The schedule of activities for the week of May 5-9 at the Elizabethton Senior Citizens Center is as follows:
MONDAY through FRIDAY: Workout on fitness equipment, billiards, card games, checkers, and puzzles
Also, a good, nutritious lunch is served daily at 11 a.m.
MONDAY: Just Keep Moving Cardio, Toning and Strength Building from 9 to 10 a.m.; Lunch of meatloaf at 11 a.m.; Chair yoga from 12 noon to 1 p.m.; and gentle flow yoga from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.
TUESDAY: Personal business with NET Trans-shopping at Super Walmart at 8 a.m.; Birds of Northeast Tennessee with Bryan Stevens at 10 a.m.; Lunch of tuna casserole at 11 a.m.; line dancing with Sharon Pilk from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
WEDNESDAY: We Love Our Volunteers Breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. Volunteers are invited to start their day with a free homemade breakfast at the center.
This includes those that deliver homebound meals in Elizabethton and Carter County. Please come by the office or call to sign up.
Just Keep Moving Cardio, Toning and Strength Building from 9 to 10 a.m.; Blood pressure check with Walgreen’s Pharmacy staff at 10 a.m.; bowling at 10 a.m.; Lunch of spaghetti and meat sauce at 11 a.m.; chair yoga from 12 noon to 1 p.m.; gentle flow yoga from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.; and zumba gold from 3 to 4 p.m.
THURSDAY: Gospel singing at 10 a.m.; Devotions with Eric Heaton at 10:15 a.m.; Lunch of teriyaki chicken at 11 a.m.; Bob Ross method painting from 12 to 4 p.m. with instructor Jay Holdway. The cost is $48 which includes instruction and all supplies needed to complete a picture to frame in one afternoon.
FRIDAY: Just Keep Moving cardio, toning and strength building from 9 to 10 a.m.; blood pressure check with Hermitage Health Center staff at 9:30 a.m.; Honoring mothers at 10 a.m. with flowers for everyone and special arrangements for the mothers present that are oldest, youngest, and the one having the most children; Bingo with Hollis at 10 a.m.; Lunch of taco salad at 11 a.m.; ballroom dancing class from 12 to 1:30 p.m. with instructors from Johnson City Ballroom. Cost is $10 per person.
Beginners class – singles or couples welcome. Snacks will be provided.
