‘We are very proud’ of HVHS seniors

Seniors at Happy Valley High School will pass one of the many milestones in their lives Saturday morning as they graduate.
This year’s graduating class at Happy Valley High School is marked by academic achievement.
“We have 117 seniors and 61 of them are receiving scholarship money, that’s 52 percent of them,” said Assistant Principal Bernie Young. “We are very proud of them.”
The graduation ceremony for Happy Valley will be held at the high school on Saturday at 10 a.m. Commencement addresses will be delivered by the three valedictorians of the Class of 2014.
The valedictorians for this graduating class are Matthew Albritton, Sabiya Azim and Caleb Perhne.
The class also has two salutatorians – Sydney Cross and Austen Lopez. All three valedictorians and both of salutatorians have bragging rights to a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
The top 10 percent of the senior class consists of: Matthew Albritton, Sabiya Azim, Caleb Perhne, Sydney Cross, Austen Lopez, Johnny Perkins, Kaitlin Campbell, Jasmine Miller, Cheyenne Branum, Timothy Morris, Katherine Perry and Alexis Woods.
The senior class officers are President Matthew Albritton, Vice President Sabiya Azim, Secretary Cheyenne Branum and Treasurer Sydney Cross.
