Billy Blevins

Billy Blevins, 52, of Elizabethton, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was the son of the late Tennessee and Roxie Bowers Blevins and was born in Carter County.
Mr. Blevins was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include four sisters, Pat Blevins, Donna Hudson and friend, Derek Presnell, Carolyn Bradley, and Joanne Frost and friend, David Tolley, all of Elizabethton; a brother, Ronnie Blevins and his wife, Kathy, Elizabethton; and a niece and caretaker, Marcia Arnold, Elizabethton. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends at Tetrick Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 21, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. or at the home of his sister, Joanne Frost, 184 Chambers Hollow Road, Elizabethton, at other times. The graveside service for Mr. Blevins will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, in the Hurley Cemetery, Stoney Creek Community, with Rev. Larry Garland officiating. Active pallbearers will be David Tolley, Ronnie Blevins and Derek Presnell; additional pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
