One sad thing about graduating high school and going off to college is saying goodbye to long time friends. For three Unaka Rangers this will not be so, as they were all signed at once to New River Community College in Dublin, Va.

Eli Rasnick, Taylor Edwards and Thomas Hardin all signed on Tuesday afternoon at Unaka High School to play for head coach Wesley Adcock’s newly founded program.

“I really like Coach Adcock,” Rasnick said. “Just to be able to play more baseball is great. Me and Thomas are good friends and I think this is a real good fit for us. We decided to do this together and getting to go to school is a big thing for me, too.”
