Estella Mae Bayless

Estella Mae Bayless of Milligan College died peacefully following a lingering illness on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the age of 92.
Miss Bayless was born in Telford and was the daughter of the late Edgar and Carrie Bayless of Milligan where she lived most of her life.
She is survived by her sister, Beatrice Beals, wife of the late Russell Beals of Jonesborough; her brother, Roscoe “Charlie” Bayless along with his wife Jane; and her uncle and friend, Fletcher Parsons. She was a “Beloved Aunt” to her nephew, Billy “Doc” Parris, and nieces, Phyllis Parris Lachman, Dianna Beals, Heather Parris Taylor, Sarae’ Trivett, Kathy Garland, Karen Goulds and Charlene Bayless; and her many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Miss Bayless was a lifetime member of Hopwood Memorial Christian Church where she attended the Friends and Neighbors Sunday School Class and was a member of the Service Seekers. She was a graduate of Milligan College and worked at North American Bemberg until it closed. She was an avid sports fan and could be found cheering for the Atlanta Braves and the Happy Valley Warriors with the Bayless Clan. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, knitting and crocheting.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Christine Davis with Human Services and to the staff at Lake Bridge and Caris Hospice who cared for her so lovingly these past few years.
