Schedule of activities for the week of July 28-Aug. 1:
Monday through Friday: Workout on Fitness Equipment; Billiards; Card Games; Checkers; Puzzles.
Nutrition Site Coordinator Jacquelyn Whitehead invites you to enjoy a good, nutritious lunch daily at 11 a.m.
Monday: “Just Keep Movin’” Cardio/Toning/Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Sign Language, 10 a.m.; Lunch — Cajun Fish, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, noon-1 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga, 1:15-2:15 p.m.
Tuesday: 2nd Annual Senior Brain Games, 9-11 a.m. Come by and enjoy watching the four teams compete.
It’s not too late to sign up if you would like to be on a team; Lunch — Meatloaf, 11 a.m.; Shopping at Wal-Mart, 12:30 p.m.; Line Dancing with Sharon Pilk, 1-2:30 p.m.
Wednesday: “Just Keep Movin’” Cardio/Toning/Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Blood Pressure Check with Walgreen’s Pharmacy Staff, 10 a.m.; Lunch — Chicken Fajita, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, noon-1 p.m.; Gentle-Flow Yoga, 1:15-2:15 p.m.; Zumba Gold, 3-4 p.m.
Thursday: Gospel Singing, 10 a.m.; Devotions with Bryan Smith, Chaplain at Pine Ridge Health Center, 10:15 a.m.; Lunch — Roast Beef Sandwich, 11 a.m.
Friday: “Just Keep Movin’” Cardio/Toning/Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Blood Pressure Check with Hermitage Health Center, 9:30 a.m.; Bingo with Hollis, 10 a.m.; Lunch — Parmesan Chicken, 11 a.m.
Members are invited to come and exercise in our air-conditioned fitness room — equipped with treadmills, bicycles, weight machine, Nu-step, and elliptical steppers.
