Shepard – Kodak

Announcement is made of the engagement and forthcoming marriage of Joy Leanna Shepard and Jared Michael Kodak.

Leanna is the daughter of Daren and Joy Shepard of Elizabethton. Jared is the son of David and Julia Kodak of Roan Mountain.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Happy Valley High School and a graduate of East Tennessee State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood. She is employed by Johnson County School System as a second-grade teacher.

Leanna is a granddaughter of Gary Trond and Ruth Shepard of Johnson City and Mitchell and Margaret Carpenter of Elizabethton.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Cloudland High School. He is employed by Kodak Painting.

Jared is a grandson of George and Shirley Williams of Piney Flats.

The couple plan a private wedding for Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at the Kodak home.
