Elizabethton and Happy Valley’s cross country teams made their way to Bristol on Saturday to compete in the Run for the Hills meet.

The Cyclones’ Maci Shell stormed her way to fourth place for the girls, with Heather Feuchtenberger just one spot behind in fifth. Shell brought in a time of 22:37.85, while Feuchtenberger crossed at 22:41.19.

“This was the first meet as a team for the girls” said Cyclones cross country coach Amber Abel. “And they just really showed massive improvement from last year into this year.”
