Jerry Evans Nidiffer

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Jerry Evans Nidiffer, 74, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.
Mr. Nidiffer was born in Elizabethton, Tenn., on August 16, 1940. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from the Greensboro Police Department, where he served as a Police Officer for over 30 years.
Jerry loved hunting, fishing and western movies. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Davis and Marie Nidiffer, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Brenda Parlier Nidiffer, and sister, Shirley Nidiffer.
Left to cherish Mr. Nidiffer’s memories are sons, Michael Wade Nidiffer and Tony Lee Nidiffer and wife Andrea; grandchildren, William Evans and Davis Aaron Nidiffer; and his mother-in-law, Lucy Parlier.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 5, at Forbis and Dick in Pleasant Garden with interment to follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
