Robert Dean Brockwell

Robert Dean Brockwell, 74, of the Stoney Creek Community of Elizabethton, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was the son of the late Robert Fred and Ruth Ann Peters Brockwell and was born in Washington County, Tenn.
Mr. Brockwell was a brick mason and also preached at Watauga Valley Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Carden Brockwell, of the home, and 10 children, Bobby Brockwell and his wife, Marie, Rick Largent and his wife, Shannon, Dale Largent and his wife, Barbara, Randy Largent and his wife, Christine, Jeff Largent and his wife, Christine, Wes Largent and his wife, Tammy, Debbie Younce and her husband, Rick, Teresa Campbell and her husband, Bill, Robin Bradshaw and her husband, David, and Ruth Ann Klopfenstein and her husband, Brian. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
A graveside service for Mr. Brockwell will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Charles Guinn officiating. Active pallbearers will be Bill Campbell, B.J. Campbell, Rick Largent, Dale Largent, Shane Younce and Bobby Brockwell. Randy Largent will be honorary pallbearer. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet the family at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
