Ruth Ann White, 85, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at her home. She was a long-time resident of the Rocky Hill Community and was of the Baptist faith.
Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Dana T. Walsh Sr., mother, Mae Walsh, brother, Dana T. Walsh Jr., and great-grandson, Zane Ezra Smith.
She is survived by daughter, Linda (Russell) Williams; sons, Roland E. Smith Jr., James R. Smith of Knoxville and Dale L. (Ruth) Smith of Guzenburg, Germany; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy (Glenn) Little; and brothers, Darrell (Reitha) Walsh of Elizabethton, Harold (Linda) Walsh and Gregory (Linda) Walsh of Jonesborough.
Family and friends will meet Saturday, May 2, at 2 p.m. at Happy Valley Memorial Park, 2708 Elizabethton Highway, Johnson City, TN 37601, 423-543-1051, for a graveside service with the Rev. Andrew Jones officiating.
