Ruby Pauline “Polly” Collins

Ruby Pauline “Polly” Collins, 80 years young, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center. She went to join her savior, her husband Paul of 55 years, and their daughter Pat of 24 years.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Myrtle Pritchard Sneed of Elizabethton.
Polly retired from Siemens Electronics. She was a proud attendee of New Life Tabernacle of Johnson City.
Polly and Paul enjoyed traveling and camping all over the country, meeting and making friends wherever they went. Polly loved time spent with her family and her friends and especially enjoyed time spent with her friends and employees at the Southern Café where she worked with her daughter Ruby.
Survivors include three daughters, Ruby Malone and her husband Ronnie of Watauga, Theresa Hopson and her husband Jimmy of Dandridge and Pauletta Richardson of Elizabethton; one adopted daughter/granddaughter, Crystal Collins of Elizabethton; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly; and one surviving sister, Marie Baird of Elizabethton.
The family will gather for a final farewell at Memorial Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 4, at 1:20 p.m. with a graveside service to be held at Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. David Booher officiating. Active pallbearers will be Joshua Malone, Frankie Hopson, Jimmy Hopson, Billy Kinsler, Dennis White and Wayne Winters.
