Jerald Edward “Jerry” Shell, 59, Roan Mountain, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late John Frank and Lillian Ledford Shell.
Jerald was a mechanic with the Carter County Highway Department. He attended Lower Shell Creek Christian Church. He loved his guns and riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marcella Shell.
Survivors include his sister, Jackie Hoss, Roan Mountain; his brother and sister-in-law, John and Janie Shell, Roan Mountain; and several nieces and nephews.
It was his wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
