Eva H. Gouge

Eva H. Gouge, 97, of Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Amanda Kress Hardin.
Mrs. Gouge was a graduate of Elizabethton High School and a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation after 47 years of service. She attended the Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Gouge; a brother, Hubert Hardin; and a sister-in-law, Mary Evelyn Hicks.
Survivors include a daughter, Loretta E. Range, Lubbock, Texas; a grandson, David G. Range, Lubbock, Texas; a brother-in-law, Paul Gouge, Elizabethton; a nephew, Richard Hardin; and a very special friend, Mary Keylon.
Funeral services for Eva H. Gouge will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 10, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Wilson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Life Care Center and the staff of Caris Health Care.
