Joe Hux

Joe Hux, 52, of Mountain City, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015, at his residence. He was born November 19, 1963 to the late Charles B. Hux III and Iris Hux Greer.
Joe was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed working on old cars and especially loved Harleys and Mustangs.
Joe served in the United States Navy. He was a former employee of Percy-Hux Funeral Home and later Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. He most recently worked for Asplundh.
Survivors include his mother, Iris Hux-Greer, and stepfather, Vance Greer, a son, Christopher Hux, and a sister, Edna Lee Lewis and husband Wayne, all of Mountain City; a nephew, Matthew Lipford and wife Amanda of Blountville, Tenn.; and a niece, Julia Gilsdorf and husband Jon of Longmont, Colo.
