JC Police arrest local man on theft and drug charges

Johnson City Police Officers arrested Joshua Rhudy, 35, Elizabehton, Saturday and charged him with theft of property over $10,000 and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.
Rhudy was arrested after officers responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle behind Fantasic Cuts, 1913 S. Roan St. Officers found Rhudy inside the vehicle, which had been reported stolen in Baltimore, Md. Officers also found inside the console of the vehicle rolling papers and a marijuana grinder.
Rhudy was transported to the Washington County Detention Center. He was arraigned Monday in Washington County General Sessions Court.
