Frances Arnold Campbell

Frances Arnold Campbell, 90, of Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Daytona Beach, Fla.
A native of Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late Andrew J. and Eliza Stout Arnold. She had lived most of her life in Elizabethton before going to Florida this month.
Mrs. Campbell was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and more recently of Freedom Road Baptist Church. She was a retired manager of Droke Shoe Store.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Campbell, November 7, 2015, and by two sisters and one brother.
Survivors include her daughter, Anne Campbell Davis and husband Ray, Ormond Beach, Fla.; her grandchildren, Rick MacLean, St. Louis, Mo., and Dr. Brett L. MacLean and wife Sheri and their four children, Dawson, Kenan, Silas and Haven of Mali, Africa; and two sisters, Pat Burleson and husband James, Johnson City, and Madelyn Jones, Elizabethton.
Graveside services for Frances Arnold Campbell will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 9, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Steve Davis officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Campbell to Calvary Baptist Church, Freedom Road Baptist Church, First Church of God, whose pastor often visited, all of Elizabethton, or to the ministry of Mrs. Campbell’s grandson, Dr. Brett MacLean in Mali, Africa (Global Partners in Hope, 14441 DuPont Ct. #101, Omaha, NE 68144).
