Thomas Hord, 75, passed away at his residence on Monday, March 7, 2016. He was born June 4, 1940 to the late Clarence and Nellie Billings Hord.
Thomas lived in the Johnson City area for most of his life.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Janice Sue Hord, and a grandson, Ryan Thomas Bolton.
Those left to cherish his memory are daughters, Tracey and husband, John Meredith, and Teri and husband, Bob Garmon; sisters, Charlcie Hord Turner and Faye Hord; grandchildren, Travis Bolton, Rachael Bolton, Lindsey Garmon and Niki Garmon; and great-grandson, Bennett Barwick.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 11, at Mountain Home National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.snydersmemorialgardens.com
