Life Care Center of Elizabethton recently earned a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The CMS ratings system is designed to assist the public in choosing care for their loved ones. It calculates the ratings based on results of health inspections, staffing and quality of care measures such as pain management, pressure ulcers, weight loss and falls.
“I have a wonderful and dedicated staff that truly cares about resident outcomes and providing top-notch customer service,” said Angi Bradnan, executive director of Life Care Center of Elizabethton. “It is truly gratifying to see all of our hard work being recognized by Medicare.”
The center received the rating in February 2016, after achieving a deficiency-free state survey in December.
